It is a dedication to my grandfather who has had bad Alzheimer’s for a couple of years and the last time I visited he was unresponsive. To see him like that was incredibly hard and I wanted to get something to remind me of my real Grandfather, not the one being overtaken by such a terrible disease. He traveled all over and had such great stories, and was also in the Korean War (hence the dog tags).
